I keep reading this term in comments here, evaporation line. I tested and saw a very faint something after some time and now im confused if its real or this evap thing. Can someone explain what it actually means?
Oh these lines caused me so much false hope and heartache during my journey. They appear when the test dries and they arent real positives. Please read it in the proper time window, and confirm with a blood test to spare yourself the rollercoaster.
Its a faint mark that appears after the test sits too long, and it fools many people. Always read within the time the instructions say. A true positive has actual colour, not a faded grey streak.
My doctor explained an evaporation line shows up when the urine dries on the test after the time limit, and its usually colourless or grey, not a real positive. Thats why you read the result within the window on the pack. After that, dont trust the line.
