Gynac mentioned doing some tube test as part of our fertility checkup and the name went over my head. We have been trying for over a year. What exactly is this test like, is it painful?
I just had this recommended to us and I was nervous reading about it. The doctor said it checks for any blockage in the tubes. Glad to hear others did it and it was fine.
It is usually an HSG, a dye test with x-ray to see if the tubes are clear. It is a common step when checking why conception is delayed. Best to get it explained by your gynac so you know the timing in your cycle.
You mean the HSG test most likely, where they check if the tubes are open. I did it during our journey, it is a bit uncomfortable but quick. Your fertility doctor will explain exactly why and when, take someone along for support.
