On my last scan the doc mentioned i have a small fibroid and im a little worried now. Didnt fully understand what it means for the baby. Has anyone here had this during pregnancy?
My doctor explained a fibroid is a non cancerous growth in the uterus muscle. She said many women have them and most pregnancies go fine with monitoring. Mine was tracked at each scan and it stayed quiet.
When I heard the word fibroid I panicked too honestly. But my doctor calmed me down saying many are totally manageable. Please ask all your questions to your gynac so your mind is at peace.
