Just found out im expecting and im totally clueless about how the months are counted. Matlab does first month start from last period or from conception? Sorry if basic question, im completely new to all this.
The first month is usually counted from the start of your last period, so by the time you realize you're pregnant, you're already 3-4 weeks along. It's when the embryo forms and major organs start developing. You might just feel general pregnancy symptoms like fatigue or nausea. It's the beginning of a beautiful journey!
In the first month, your body is just starting to adjust, but there are no visible external changes. Internally, a lot is happening, but you likely won't feel much beyond maybe some tiredness or bloating. It's a good time to ensure you're eating healthy and confirming with your doctor what light exercises, like walking, are okay.
The first month of pregnancy is generally when conception happens, and the fertilized egg implants and starts developing. Most women realise they're pregnant towards the end of this month after missing a period. It's a critical time for cell division. Your doctor will confirm your due date based on your last period and early scans.
Oh, the first month! I remember feeling this weird mix of excitement and disbelief. For me, it was mostly just a missed period and then the shock of a positive test. I felt tired and a bit bloated, but that's about it. My baby was just a tiny, tiny speck, but it felt like magic.
The first month of pregnancy is actually calculated from the first day of your last menstrual period. By the end of this month, you're usually around 4 weeks pregnant, and your baby is a tiny embryo. Most women don't even know they're pregnant yet, just might miss their period.
