The gynac asked me to come for follicular study this cycle and i nodded but didnt really understand what it involves. We're trying to conceive since some months. Can someone explain what they actually check in this?
We just started this last month, I was nervous but it's only a scan, nothing to fear. They told me come on certain days to check the follicle and tell us the best days to try. Felt a bit reassuring to actually have a plan honestly.
It's nothing scary beta. Just a series of ultrasounds to watch your follicle grow and find your ovulation time so trying becomes more accurate. Your doctor will tell you exactly which days to come in. Relax, it's a simple helpful test.
My doctor called it follicular monitoring. They scan over a few days to see the follicle size and catch ovulation, so you know your fertile window better. Totally painless, just a scan. Usually suggested when you're trying to conceive and want to time it right.
I did so many of these during my treatment. It's basically a follicular study, an ultrasound done a few times around mid cycle to track how your egg follicles are growing and when one is ready to release. Helps time things for conceiving. The doc guides you on which days to come.
