What is fundal placenta in pregnancy?

I just got my ultrasound report and it says 'fundal placenta'. I'm not sure what this means. Can someone please explain what a fundal placenta is during pregnancy?

Fundal placenta simply means your baby's placenta has attached at the top of your uterus. It is actually the most ideal position because it stays far away from the cervix, so relax!
