Got my first scan report yesterday and there is GA written with some weeks next to it. Didnt get a chance to ask the doctor properly, what does this actually mean?
I was confused by all these short forms too in my first scan. GA is gestational age, the pregnancy week. Did anyone else find the report full of abbreviations and had to google each one?
GA is gestational age, the age of your pregnancy in weeks. Sonologist baby ke measurements se nikalta hai. Mere reports me hamesha LMP wali aur scan wali GA thodi alag aati thi, that's normal.
Don't stress over the report terms. GA simply means gestational age, how far along you are. If the number feels off from your dates, your doctor will explain it at the next visit, it's very common.
GA matlab Gestational Age, basically how many weeks and days pregnant you are. Scan report me likha aata hai jaise GA 12w3d. Apps me bhi same track hota hai, it just tells baby's age.
