Saw GA and LMP written on my report and i have no idea what they mean lol. doc just nodded and moved on, didnt explain. can someone tell me in simple words?
GA cha arth gestational age (gabhache vay) ani LMP mhanje last period date, ho na. Doctor ya donhi varun delivery date tharavtat. Jast tension gheu nako, sagla report madhe lihila aska.
Don't get confused by medical terms. GA is just the number of weeks you have been pregnant, and LMP is the date your last period started. Doctors use LMP to calculate your exact due date, which is standard practice.
Actually yaar, GA matlab Gestational Age (baby kitne weeks ka hai) aur LMP matlab Last Menstrual Period. Doctor isi date se aapki delivery date calculate karte hain, so simple!
LMP matlab tumhare last period ka pehla din aur GA matlab pregnancy ke kitne hafte hue hain. Doctor isi se decide karte hain ki baby ki growth sahi hai ya nahi. Isme koi confuse hone ki baat nahi hai.
Currently in my 3rd trimester and reading these terms on my reports daily! GA is Gestational Age, basically baby's age in weeks, and LMP is your last period date. Honestly, I still use a calculator app because my brain is totally fried right now!
