My hcg numbers arent rising the way they should and doc mentioned ectopic as a possibility, im so worried. Going for another test soon. Did anyone here go through this, what were ur levels?
There is no specific hCG number for ectopic. The rate of increase is what matters, and they confirm it with a transvaginal ultrasound. Go get a scan done if you have doubts.
In ectopic, the hCG pattern is typically slow and doesn't double every 48 hours. Please do regular follow-ups with your doctor and get a scan done, don't rely only on blood tests.
Oh God, please don't stress yourself by googling hCG levels, it will make you so anxious! In ectopic, the levels usually rise slower, but only an ultrasound can tell you for sure. Pls check with your doctor immediately.
I can't share exact numbers because they vary so much for everyone. But in my friend's case, her hCG was rising very slowly and her doctor diagnosed it using a scan. Please consult your gynac.
The clinical team at my hospital always said that only a doctor should interpret hCG trends. If you suspect anything or have pain, immediately contact your hospital's emergency team.
My doctor explained that hCG levels in ectopic pregnancies usually rise much slower than normal. However, there's no single 'ectopic number', and only an early ultrasound can confirm the baby's position.
