My doc wrote this term in my report near the end of my pregnancy and i forgot to ask her properly. Does it mean baby is in right position? Can someone explain in simple words pls.
My gynac explained head fixing or engagement is when the baby moves head down into the pelvic area before birth. In first pregnancies it often happens a few weeks before labour. Nothing to worry, it is a normal step.
My doctor said baby is getting into position and honestly I feel the pressure down there now haha. Apparently it means we are getting closer. Cant wait to not waddle anymore.
It means the baby head has settled down into the pelvis getting ready for delivery, usually in the last weeks. My doctor told me mine was fixed and labour came soon after. It is a good sign things are progressing.
