Im 12 weeks and want to start eating properly for the baby now that nausea is easing. Everyone gives different advice so im confused. What do u all include daily that's actually healthy and easy to make at home?
Honestly pregnancy is the time I learned to balance my cravings with healthy stuff haha. Fruits, nuts, paneer, eggs are my go to. I still have my treats sometimes, just not everyday. All in moderation na.
Keep it simple and desi, dal, roti, sabzi, rice, curd, fruits, eggs or paneer for protein. Add green leafy veg for iron. I didnt do anything fancy in either pregnancy, just balanced home food and lots of water.
You dont need costly superfoods yaar. Seasonal fruits, dal, eggs, peanuts, banana, milk, all cheap and great. I ate normal ghar ka khana with extra protein and it was enough. Save the money for scans and delivery.
I had to be careful with sugar so I focused on whole grains, lots of veggies, protein and fruits in moderation. Avoid too much fried and sweet stuff. Honestly a gynac or a dietician can tailor it to you, mine did for me.
My amma made sure I ate ragi, curd rice, lots of veggies and a glass of milk daily. Simple homemade food is best ma. Just check with ur doctor on iron and calcium, mine added those for me.
