Im 24 weeks and suddenly i feel these waves of heat, my face goes red and i start sweating even in AC. Didnt expect this in pregnancy honestly. Is this what they call hot flashes? anyone else getting these?
Normal hot flashes are from pregnancy hormones. But just one thing, if u also feel ur heart racing a lot, sudden weight changes or too much sweating, mention to ur doctor, sometimes thyroid plays up in pregnancy. I kept mine in check with regular tests.
I felt these so much, suddenly my whole body would get warm and sweaty out of nowhere, even in AC. My gynac said its the hormones and increased blood flow, totally normal in pregnancy. I felt better knowing it wasnt fever.
Its those sudden waves of heat where u feel hot and start sweating for no reason. Happens because of hormone changes and more blood circulating. Wear loose cottons, keep water handy and a small fan helps. Very common, dont worry.
Oh I'm basically a walking heater these days lol. One minute fine, next minute sweating like I ran a marathon. Hormones doing their thing. Loose kurtis and cold water are my best friends right now.
