What is hot flashes in early pregnancy?

Lately i suddenly feel this rush of heat all over my body even when the fan is on, and then i sweat. Im around 7 weeks and never had this before. Is this what people mean by hot flashes? bit confused honestly.

Yaar this is so normal in pregnancy, dont stress too much. I used to feel like a heater sometimes. Loose clothes and a small fan saved me honestly.

I had these too and honestly I panicked thinking something was wrong. Turned out it was just the hormones messing with my body temperature. Once my gynac said it was normal I relaxed completely.

I get these sudden warm waves and start sweating even in AC, is that what you mean? Felt a bit scary at first. Did others feel same in early weeks?

My doc explained it is the hormone changes and extra blood flow that makes you suddenly feel hot. Wear light cotton and keep water near you. But if you also get high fever or feel dizzy, then call her, dont ignore that part.
