Lately i suddenly feel super hot out of nowhere, like my whole face and neck burns even when the fan is on. Im 6 months. Someone told me these are hot flashes but i thought that only happens in menopause na? can someone explain what exactly this is.
Oh the hot flashes yaar, I was basically a personal heater the whole pregnancy. My husband froze while I wanted the fan on full haha. It is just hormones, totally normal, keep a cold water bottle handy.
I felt these sudden waves of heat especially in the later months, would get sweaty out of nowhere. My gynac said it is the hormones and the extra blood flow making you feel warmer. Loose cotton clothes helped me a lot.
Hot flashes are those sudden feelings of warmth and sweating, very common in pregnancy because of hormones and higher blood volume. Stay cool, wear light clothes and keep hydrated. Both my pregnancies I had them, totally normal.
