My gynac wrote ICT test on my report and i totally forgot to ask her what it is. Now im sitting at home wondering what does it check exactly? Anyone done this one?
Mujhe bhi karaya tha kyunki main negative blood group hu. Agar tum bhi Rh negative ho toh ye test important hota hai, warna usually routine hi rehta. Apni reports gynac ko dikha dena, woh batayegi.
I panicked when they wrote it on my slip too lol but it's literally just a blood draw. Don't google too much yaar, ask your doctor what your result means, that calmed me down.
ICT is Indirect Coombs Test, my doc explained it checks if there are antibodies in your blood that could affect the baby, mostly important if your blood group is Rh negative. It's just a normal blood test, nothing scary.
