Im 39 weeks and my gynac said if baby doesnt come by next week they might have to induce. Honestly i dont fully understand what induction even means and im thoda nervous. Can someone who went through it explain how it goes?
Think of induction as an eviction notice for your little tenant when they refuse to vacate on time! The doctors just give you a little gel or drip to start the labor contractions. It's very common, so don't worry at all.
Induction is just a gentle helping hand from medical science to bring your baby safely into the world. Stay positive, keep chanting your prayers, and remember that whichever way the labor starts, the end result is a beautiful blessing.
Induction is when doctors use medication or gel to start your labor pains artificially if they don't start on their own. I was induced at 39 weeks because my water level was low, and it went very smoothly. Just trust the hospital team, they know best.
I am still hoping to conceive, but I have read that induction is a very safe medical process used when the delivery date is crossed. It helps the mother start labor safely under doctor's care. Wishing you a very safe and happy delivery!
Currently in my 3rd trimester and honestly, if this baby doesn't come out soon, I might ask for induction myself! It basically means jump-starting the labor process with some medical help because the baby is too comfortable inside.
