I keep seeing people mention kegels for an easier delivery but i dont really understand what they are or how to do them. Im 6 months along now. Can someone explain it simply?
I did kegels regularly and felt it really helped my pelvic strength during normal delivery and recovery after. Nothing fancy, just simple squeezes. Worth doing if doctor says okay.
Kegels are exercises where you squeeze and release your pelvic floor muscles, like stopping urine midway. My doctor said they help strengthen the muscles for delivery and recovery. She told me to do a few sets daily but get her okay first if you have any complications.
I started kegels after my gynac approved them, along with my walking routine. They are easy and you can do them sitting anywhere honestly. Just dont overdo and listen to your body.
