Gynac told me to book a level 2 scan around 20 weeks and i forgot to ask what it actually checks. Is it different from the normal ultrasound? Bas wanna know before i go.
It is basically the anomaly scan done around 18-20 weeks to see if the baby is developing perfectly. I had it during my pregnancy and it was so reassuring to see the baby's tiny heart and fingers!
Beta, this is a very common test done in the fifth month to make sure the baby is healthy. Eat a light meal before going, stay relaxed, and trust that everything will go well.
Look, it's just an anomaly scan that every single pregnant woman has to get. Don't read too much on Google before going, just get it done as advised by your gynac.
Omg, I totally freaked out when my doctor ordered a Level 2 scan thinking something was wrong, but it's just the routine anomaly scan. They check the baby's growth from head to toe and everything usually turns out absolutely fine.
