Got my scan report and it mentioned liquor volume but i didnt understand matlab what it means. The doc said its fine but i still wanted to know what exactly this is. Can someone explain in simple words?
I remember crying when my report said low liquor volume, I was so scared. It just means amniotic fluid, please drink lots of fluids and discuss with your doctor.
If the doctor suggests extra growth scans to monitor the liquor volume, try to plan your budget for it. Keeping an eye on amniotic fluid is very important for baby's safety.
It refers to the amniotic fluid or 'liquor amnii' that protects the baby in the womb. The normal range is measured by AFI on scans, so it's best to let your doctor interpret the numbers.
My amniotic fluid level fluctuated a bit in my 8th month. My doctor advised me to drink lots of water and L-arginine sachets she prescribed, and it got better.
Liquor volume is the amniotic fluid around the baby. If your scan report shows low or high levels, please consult your gynac immediately as they need to monitor it.
Don't get confused by the word 'liquor', it just means amniotic fluid. Keep drinking coconut water and buttermilk, and your gynac will guide you on the scan reports.
