My bp came a little on the lower side at my last checkup and i felt dizzy twice this week. Doc didnt say much so im just trying to understand what it actually means during pregnancy. Anyone faced this?
My doctor said BP often dips in pregnancy because of changing blood flow, especially second trimester. Small frequent meals, fluids and not standing up too fast help. If it causes fainting though, it needs evaluation.
Low BP is fairly common especially in the early and middle months, it can make you dizzy or lightheaded. Eat regularly, stay hydrated and get up slowly. But if you feel faint often, mention it to your gynac at the next visit.
My BP dropped low at one point and I had a near fainting episode. My doctor adjusted my fluids and salt intake. Please dont ignore frequent dizziness, get it checked properly.
