I keep reading about this in some groups, ki it can start contractions or something near due date. Im 38 weeks now and honestly thoda confused what it even means exactly. Can someone explain in simple words?
I was so busy tracking my sugar levels and diet that I never even thought about this. But honestly, any such method should only be done after discussing with your doctor, safety first.
Honestly, 38 weeks and I am so tired of carrying this giant football. Tried this because some forum said it starts labor, but only got some weird cramps. Gynac strictly told me not to mess around with it before 39 weeks anyway.
My doc actually recommended light nipple massage during my 39th week checkup to help prepare for breastfeeding. It did cause some mild contractions, but baby came naturally a few days later.
Beta, in our times we didn't do all this manually before the baby arrived. Just apply a little coconut oil if your skin feels dry, but avoid stimulating it too much as it can cause body heat and early pain.
Oh wait, does this actually work to bring on labor? I am 37 weeks and getting restless, but too scared to try it without asking my doc first. Has anyone tried it?
