I have thyroid since before and now doc said the range is different when ur pregnant. My report is due next week and i want to understand the numbers. Anyone knows the normal range?
Keep your mind peaceful and dont stress over the lab numbers, dear. Just show the reports to your doctor and they will tell u if any minor dose adjustment is needed. Take care and stay positive.
My doctor explained that the normal TSH range is lower during pregnancy than normal times—ideally under 2.5 mIU/L in the first trimester and under 3 in the later months. U should definitely get your reports checked by your gynac because they might adjust your dosage accordingly.
According to my pregnancy tracker app, TSH ranges are quite strict during these months, usually needing to be under 2.5 in the first trimester. Definitely upload your lab report on your hospital app and consult your doctor to be safe!
I had thyroid throughout my pregnancy and had to take my pill every single morning. The normal range is usually under 2.5, but pls show your reports to your doctor immediately so they can monitor and guide u properly.
Managing thyroid tests when u are throwing up constantly is such a task, I really feel u. For pregnancy, TSH needs to be on the lower side, usually below 2.5, so pls make sure your doctor sees the report soon so u dont have to worry.
