My gynac wrote NT NB scan on my next visit and i just nodded but actually i had no idea what it checks. Im around 11 weeks now. Can someone explain in simple words na?
It's a super important scan done between 11 to 13 weeks! It checks the baby's neck thickness (NT) and nasal bone (NB) to ensure baby is growing perfectly. You also get to see your tiny baby moving around, it's so cute! 🌟
This scan is just a routine checkup to see the baby's development in the first trimester. Have faith in God and keep positive thoughts in your mind during the scan. Take care of your health, everything will go beautifully.
I had my NT NB scan just a few weeks ago and honestly, I was so anxious waiting for the report! It basically checks the fluid behind the baby's neck and the nose bone. Did anyone else get super nervous before this scan too?
Beta, this is a modern scan to check if the baby's growth is proper in the early months. Do what the doctor says, but also make sure you are eating well and resting. Drink milk with a little saffron or almonds for strength, and stay happy.
It is just a normal ultrasound done around the 3rd month to check baby's health. Please don't worry about it, it is a routine procedure. Wishing you a very safe pregnancy.
I understand how nerve-wracking every single scan can feel, especially when it's the NT NB scan. It basically screens for early development markers to make sure the baby is healthy. Sending you so much strength, stay strong and take it one step at a time.
With my PCOS, I was always extra cautious about every test. The NT NB scan is basically to rule out early genetic risks, usually done between 11-13 weeks. It's an important routine test, so definitely get it done as advised by your doctor.
