Got my scan report today and there is this OFD measurement written for the baby. I dont understand what it means and forgot to ask the doc in the rush. can someone explain in simple words?
OFD is occipitofrontal diameter, basically a measurement of the babys head front to back on the scan. My doc said its used along with other measurements to assess head growth. Its just routine, nothing to worry about.
Yes its one of those head measurements in the ultrasound report. I had to google all these too after my scans haha. The doctor reads them together, so dont stress over one value.
