I have pcos since years and just found out im pregnant after a long time of trying. Want to understand if pregnancy is different or needs extra care when u have pcos. anyone here in same boat?
From what my gynac explained, PCOS can affect ovulation so conceiving may take longer, and once pregnant they monitor a bit more closely for sugar and BP. It is very manageable with the right care. She put me on regular follow ups and it went well.
I totally understand the worry that comes with a PCOS diagnosis. So many of us have gone on to have healthy babies though. Trust your doctor, take it one step at a time, sending you love.
