My first scan appointment says pelvic scan and I got confused if it is internal or normal abdomen scan. I am only 6 weeks, so maybe they need to see clearly. What was your experience?

Its basically an ultrasound of ur lower belly area to check the uterus, ovaries and the baby. In early pregnancy they often do it to confirm and see the heartbeat. Totally routine, nothing to worry.
Pelvic scan is just a type of ultrasound looking at ur pelvic organs and the pregnancy. Sometimes its done on the tummy, early on it can be a transvaginal one for a clearer view. Your gynac orders it to confirm things are on track.
