Saw this short form PNC written on a pamphlet at my doctors clinic and i didnt want to ask there and look silly. Im a first time mom so all these abbreviations confuse me. Can someone tell me what it actually means na?
Just to add, people sometimes confuse ANC and PNC. ANC is antenatal, the care during pregnancy, and PNC is postnatal, after the baby comes. Both are important parts of your care plan.
After my C section the postnatal care visits really helped me, they checked my stitches and the baby weight. It is the after delivery follow up basically. Take it seriously, your recovery needs it.
PNC usually means postnatal care, the checkups and care for mom and baby after delivery. It covers your recovery, the baby health and feeding support. Dont skip those visits, they matter a lot.
