Im 9 weeks and noticing more discharge than usual, kind of milky white. Nobody told me this happens in pregnancy so im a little confused. Is this the normal pregnancy discharge everyone talks about or something else?
I felt so confused when this started for me, I actually thought something was wrong. Then my gynac told me its just leucorrhoea and very common. Felt so much better after she explained.
Its totally normal hai. That milky white thin discharge increases in pregnancy because of hormones, both my pregnancies same thing. As long as its white or clear and not itchy or smelly, dont worry about it.
Amma told me this is very natural during pregnancy and body's way of keeping things clean. Just wear cotton inners and keep that area dry. But if anything feels off, ask ur doctor, no harm.
My app explained it nicely actually. Increased estrogen and more blood flow down there means more discharge, body is protecting against infections. Just panty liners help if it feels too much for u.
Normal discharge is fine but pls keep an eye on the colour. If it turns greenish, yellow, has bad smell or u feel itching/burning, get it checked. And any watery gush or pinkish/brownish discharge, call ur doctor same day.
