At my appointment the nurse said they will keep checking BP because of this condition, and I did not fully understand. I have no symptoms right now but the name itself scared me. Can someone explain how it was explained to you?
My gynac explained it as raised blood pressure that shows up during pregnancy. She said the worry is it can sometimes progress to preeclampsia, which is why they check BP and urine at every visit. Regular monitoring is the main thing they stress on.
