First time pregnant and i work in a private company. Honestly i dont fully understand how maternity leave works, how many days, when it starts. Can someone explain how it actually went for them?
Its basically maternity leave, paid time off around your delivery. In India under the law its 26 weeks for the first two kids if you work in an eligible company. Check your HR policy, some give more.
