For me it feels like food is stuck in throat and smell of tea makes me run away. I dont vomit every time, just that uneasy wave comes and goes. Is this also nausea?
For me i felt this wave of yuck mostly in the mornings, like my stomach was flipping and even the thought of food made me gag. Some smells became unbearable overnight. It really tested me but it eased after the first trimester. Hang in there, it does pass.
It ranges a lot, some get mild queasiness, some get full on vomiting. Usually worse on an empty stomach and triggered by strong smells. Keep something light in your tummy always, dont let it stay empty. But if youre vomiting many times a day and cant hold fluids, that needs the doctor, dont ignore that.
Mine felt like permanent car sickness in the early weeks, did anyone else feel that? Certain smells just finished me. I kept worrying it was too much but my gynac said it was normal range. It started easing as i hit the second trimester, thankfully.
Oh i had it rough, mine wasnt just morning, it lasted all day. Its like a constant queasy seasick feeling, sometimes triggered by smells like cooking oil or perfume. Eating small bites often, dry biscuits before getting out of bed and ginger water helped me a bit. If you cant keep anything down, tell your doctor.
Picture being on a boat you never boarded, all day, while your favourite food suddenly smells like garbage, thats pregnancy nausea for you ha. It sounds dramatic but its survivable. Crackers became my best friend. It does fade, promise.
