Im 26 weeks and lately theres this sharp pain right in the front, near the pubic bone, specially when i turn in bed or climb stairs. Didnt expect pain in that area at all. Is this a normal pregnancy thing or something i should mention to my gynac?
My doctor called it pelvic girdle pain, the joints there loosen because of hormones to make room for delivery. It can feel like a sharp ache when you turn in bed or climb stairs. She told me a support belt and not spreading my legs too wide helps a lot.
It's the pelvic joint loosening, super common in later pregnancy. A maternity belt and gentle movement helped me. But if it gets really unbearable, mention it to your gynac, they can guide exercises.
Ugh that bone in front that aches like crazy? Yes I have it. Turning in bed feels like a whole workout now, I literally roll like a log. Apparently very normal in later months.
