With my little one, I tested on the very day of my missed period and got a faint line. But actually, waiting for 3-4 days after your missed date is better because hCG levels get stronger. Early morning first urine is best, that is what worked for me.
Oh god I remember testing 4 days before my period and crying when it was negative. Later my gynac told me I tested way too early and to try again after a week. Sure enough, it was positive later, so pls don't panic like I did and just wait for the missed period date.

Beta, sabse accha hai ki period miss hone ka thoda wait karo. 5-6 din nikalne do fir subah ka pehla toilet se check karna ghar pe. Bhagwan sab accha karega, tension mat lo.
