Confinement is an older term for childbirth and the recovery period afterward. Safe confinement basically means a safe, supervised delivery and good postnatal care. If u heard it from ur doctor, just ask them what exactly they meant for ur case.
Beta confinement is the old name for the resting period after delivery, the jaapa time we call it. Safe confinement means u rest well, eat nourishing food and recover properly. We had our own customs but always do it with the doctors guidance for safety.
It mostly means the safe period of delivering and the rest after the baby comes. In our area elders take great care of the new mom during this time. The main thing is a safe delivery with doctors and good rest after. Thats safe confinement.
Confinement is basically the time around childbirth, the older word people used for the delivery and the rest period right after. Safe confinement just means a safe delivery and proper care for mom and baby after. These days its all about delivering in a good hospital with trained doctors around.
