My scan report mentioned SCH and the doctor explained quickly but i didnt fully get it in that moment. Now im home and googling and getting scared. Can someone explain in simple words what it means?
SCH is subchorionic hematoma, a small bleed near the sac. I had one and totally panicked, but my gynac monitored it and it resolved on its own with rest. Please dont read scary stuff online, let your doctor guide you.
I totally understand how frightening those letters look on a report. Try to breathe and let your doctor explain it fully. Many of us came through this just fine, sending you calm.
I had this detected on a scan and my doctor put me on rest and follow up scans. Many resolve fine but it really needs proper monitoring. If you have any bleeding, call your gynac right away.
My doctor explained it as a collection of blood between the uterus wall and the membrane, often seen early. She said many clear up with rest and time. The key is regular follow up scans, so go by what your gynac advises.
