Saw SFH written on my report after the last checkup and had no idea what it meant. My gynac measured my pet with a tape but didnt really explain. Can someone tell me what this is actually?
My mother-in-law used to say old people can tell baby growth just by looking, but doctor told me SFH measurement is the actual scientific way. They just use a normal measuring tape from the pubic bone to the top of uterus. Trust your doctor, they track it every visit to be safe.
Symphysis fundal height bolte hain ise, haan. Doctor tape se pet naapti hai na har checkup pe growth dekhne ke liye. Bas wahi hai ye, thoda upar neeche hota rehta hai so tension mat lena.
Arey beta, iska matlab symphysis fundal height hota hai, yaani doctor pet ka size naapte hain tape se. Ye bas dekhne ke liye hota hai ki andar baccha theek se bada ho raha hai ya nahi. Aap bilkul chinta mat karo, sab badhiya hoga.
Actually iska matlab symphysis fundal height hai yaar. Gynac scale se measure karti hai na pubic bone se top of uterus tak. Simple check hai to see if baby is growing properly, nothing to worry.
Uff, those measurements! SFH is basically them stretching a tape on your belly to see if baby is growing or if you just ate too many parathas. Honestly, I used to get so stressed over 1-2 cm here and there, but my doctor said it is totally normal.
