Got my scan done today and the report mentioned single pocket something about fluid. I forgot to ask doc properly and now im sitting here googling. anyone knows what this means, is it ok?
Honestly the report terms confused me a lot too. Best thing is to ask the radiologist or your gynac to explain it on your own report, because numbers differ for everyone. Dont go by google for these.
Single pocket usually refers to the deepest vertical pocket of amniotic fluid they measure in the scan. My doc explained it tells them if fluid around baby is normal, low or high. She showed me the number on the report actually.
Dont worry too much beta, they just check the fluid level baby is floating in. If your doctor didnt sound worried then it is fine. Ask her at next visit to be sure.
