I keep seeing this term tender breast everywhere but not fully sure what it means. My chest feels sore and heavy these days and it confused me. Im newly pregnant so all this is new. Can someone explain in simple words?
That soreness is your body prepping for feeding the baby later. Mine were tender from early on and it settled with time. A soft supportive bra and gentle handling really helps in those weeks.
Oh I felt this so early, my breasts were sore and heavy and even hugging hurt. It was actually one of my first hints I was pregnant. It's the hormones getting your body ready, totally normal.
My doctor explained it's the hormonal changes making the breasts grow and prepare for milk, so they feel sore, full, sometimes tingly. Very common in early pregnancy. A comfy supportive bra helped me a lot.
It just means your breasts feel sensitive, achy or swollen, very normal in pregnancy from the hormones. Get a good non wired comfortable bra, makes a huge difference. It usually eases after the first few months.
