What is the baby weight in 8th month of pregnancy?
I'm in my eighth month, and I'm so excited to meet my baby! I was just wondering, what is a typical or average weight for a baby at this stage of pregnancy? I'm trying to get an idea.
Around 32-36 weeks, baby usually weights between 1.5 to 2.3 kg. It's a wide range because genetics play a big role. As long as your doctor says blood flow and liquid are fine, the weight is perfectly normal.
During my 8th month, my baby was around 1.7 kg and my mom was always feeding me dry fruits to make sure baby grows well. It was such a sweet phase at my parents home. Don't worry too much about exact numbers, every baby grows at their own pace.
Haan na, we always worry about baby weight. Mine was around 1.8 kg during the 8th month scan. Just eat your protein daily and keep counting active kicks, baki sab barabar ho jayega.
Actually don't stress on this too much yaar. My baby was only 1.6 kg in the 32nd week of 8th month and I panicked like crazy. But doc said it is totally fine and baby gained weight nicely in the last month.
I am just entering my 8th month soon and getting so nervous about baby's growth. Is 1.5 to 2 kg really the normal range? What did your doctors tell you guys around this time?
I completely understand how stressful these weight numbers can be, I used to lose sleep over scan reports. But please remember these are just averages. Just eat healthy and trust your body, your baby is doing great.
Normally it ranges between 1.5 kg to 2.2 kg in the 8th month. But ultrasound estimates can have a 10% error margin anyway. Your gynecologist is the best person to confirm if the growth curve is healthy.
Usually baby is around 1.8 kg now. Make sure you compare your growth scan prices because hospitals charge a lot for 8th-month scans. We booked ours online at a certified lab to save some money for the delivery expenses.
