Honestly look for one with maternity cover and the shortest waiting period u can find, and read the room rent and sublimit clauses. We compared a few before picking. Plan early because most need 2 plus years before u can claim maternity.
If ur job offers group insurance, check that first, it usually covers maternity without the long wait. That saved us a ton. Otherwise compare a couple of policies carefully before buying.
