We have been trying since almost a year and a half and nothing is happening. Someone in my family mentioned there is some blood related problem that stops conceiving and now im worried it could be that with me. Has anyone here gone through this, what did your doctor check?
Not exactly a blood disease but hormonal stuff like PCOS shows in blood tests and affects conceiving. Dont self diagnose yaar, a fertility doc will run proper panels and tell you whats going on.
I went through a lot of testing during IVF and they checked many blood markers, not one disease. If you are trying and struggling, a good fertility specialist will find the actual reason, hang in there.
Conceiving issues can be many causes, blood related ones include thyroid and clotting disorders. Honestly the right step is a proper consultation, not narrowing it to one disease.
Sometimes anemia or thalassemia or clotting problems get discussed in this context. Please dont guess from internet, ask your gynac to do the right tests for your case.
