Im in second trimester and noticing more white discharge than usual these days. No smell or itching but still im a bit conscious. Is this normal in pregnancy and why does it increase? anyone else?
Increased, thin, milky white discharge is actually quite normal because of hormonal shifts. It's your body's way of protecting against infections. Just keep up with good hygiene. My doctor allowed me light walks, which also helps overall well-being. But always check with your doc about exercise and any new symptoms.
Increased vaginal discharge is very common in pregnancy due to hormonal changes and increased blood flow, but it should be clear or milky white. If it's coloured, smells bad, or causes itching, please tell your doctor immediately, haan. Don't take chances with any infections, especially important when managing other conditions like gestational diabetes.
Ugh, the discharge! It's like my body decided to open the tap and leave it running for nine months, lol. My gynac said it's normal, just increased blood flow and hormones. But seriously, the panty liners are my best friends these days, it never ends.
It's usually normal, called leukorrhea. It happens due to increased estrogen and blood flow to the vaginal area. Just ensure it's not foul-smelling, green/yellow, or causing discomfort. If it is, call your gynac quickly. Don't ignore abnormal symptoms, as they can sometimes indicate an infection.
Don't worry too much, dear, light discharge is very common in pregnancy, it's natural. Just pray and stay positive, keep yourself clean and wear breathable cotton. If it feels off or looks different, definitely talk to your doctor for peace of mind, blessings to you.
