What is the cause of low placenta during pregnancy?
My 20 week scan showed low lying placenta and now im a bit worried na. Doc said it can move up later but didnt really explain why it happens. matlab kis wajah se ye hota hai? anyone who had this pls share.
Oh dear, I had this too and I immediately started crying thinking I did something wrong or lifted something heavy! But my doctor reassured me it just happens naturally and usually corrects itself as the belly grows. Just avoid heavy lifting and climbing too many stairs, and follow your doctor's instructions strictly.
Actually, my doctor explained that in early pregnancy, the placenta often attaches low in the uterus because of where the embryo implants. As the uterus grows, it usually pulls the placenta upwards. In most cases, it resolves on its own by the third trimester, so try not to panic but do keep monitoring it.
Low placenta or placenta previa often happens simply because of the spot where the fertilized egg decided to attach. There's no specific mistake you made that caused it, so don't blame yourself. Just follow pelvic rest if your doctor advised it, and keep track of your scans.
I had a low lying placenta in my fifth month and was so scared, but today my baby is a healthy toddler running around! In most cases, the placenta moves up naturally as the uterus expands. Just take ample rest, listen to your gynac, and this phase will pass smoothly.
I had a low-lying placenta which caused some bleeding, so I can't stress this enough: please consult your gynecologist immediately. Avoid any strenuous activity or travel, and strictly follow whatever safety precautions your doctor suggests for your specific case.
Haan na, low placenta sunkar darr lag jata hai. My friend also had this, and her doctor told her it's just natural implantation position. Just avoid physical stress and follow doctor's advice, mostly automatic change ho jata hai later on.
