What is the cause of white discharge during pregnancy?
Since the start of 2nd trimester ive noticed more white discharge than usual. No smell or itching, but still im a little anxious if its normal. What actually causes this in pregnancy?
It's just our body's natural way of protecting the little soul inside. Keep yourself clean and stay positive, but do ask your doc if you feel any discomfort.
Don't ignore it if it's itchy because treating a severe yeast infection later can mean extra clinic visits and meds. Simple cotton underwear is cheap and works best.
An increase in estrogen causes more discharge to prevent infections. However, if it's itchy or watery, please consult your gynecologist to rule out any infection.
