What is the chance of pregnancy right after period?
Bit of an awkward thing to ask but we were intimate just a day or two after my period ended. Now im confused about whether thats even a possible time to conceive. Just curious if anyone knows.
It is lower right after periods but not zero, especially if you have a short cycle, because sperm can survive a few days. So if you have early ovulation it is possible. If you are tracking either to conceive or avoid, an ovulation tracker and your gynac's advice help a lot.
Lower chance, but dont treat it as a guarantee either way. Cycles vary person to person. If timing matters to you, track properly or just ask your gynac, dont go by general rules.
My app showed my fertile window started sooner than I expected because my cycle is short. So right after period was actually not as safe as people assume for me. Tracking your own cycle is the only way to really know your pattern.
I always thought right after period was totally safe, then learnt it depends on cycle length. Honestly opened my eyes. Anyone with short cycles conceive around this time?
