What is the heartbeat of a baby girl during pregnancy?
At my last scan the baby's heartbeat was quite fast and my neighbour aunty immediately said its a girl. I know its all just talk but now im curious. Is there actually any difference in heartbeat for a girl? just asking out of interest.
Honestly this faster heartbeat means girl thing is just a myth. My doctor told me baby heartbeat ranges around 110-160 and it changes by activity and stage, not gender. My babys heartbeat was on higher side and i had a boy actually.
My MIL also said fast heartbeat means girl, slow means boy. But my gynac just smiled and said its an old tale. As long as the heartbeat is in normal range, baby is doing good, thats all that matters na.
I was curious about this too and asked my doctor at the scan. She said no link with gender at all. Made me realise these whatsapp forwards are all just for fun.
Dont go by these heartbeat predictions yaar. Both my kids had similar heart rates and they are a boy and a girl. The rate just tells baby is healthy, not the gender. Plus they cant tell us gender here anyway.
