What is the meaning of bloating in early pregnancy?
Im just few weeks along and my stomach feels so full and tight all the time. Heard its called bloating but dont really get what it means exactly. Is this normal in early pregnancy?
Bloating is just your body's natural way of slowing down digestion so your baby can get maximum nourishment from your food. Drinking plenty of warm fluids and chewing your food very well can make a huge difference in how comfortable you feel.
Bloating is primarily due to progesterone relaxing your digestive tract tissues. To help move things along and reduce that heavy feeling, I did gentle prenatal yoga and evening walks, but please do so only if your doctor has allowed it.
In early pregnancy, bloating makes you feel like you are 5 months pregnant when you are actually only 5 weeks! It is just progesterone relaxing your muscles. With my twins, the bloating was on another level, I felt like a giant gas balloon!
Oh, bloating is just your stomach protesting because pregnancy hormones slow down digestion! It is so annoying because you crave all this delicious food but feel full after just two bites. Eating smaller, frequent portions really helped me satisfy my cravings without feeling stuffed.
Bloating in the beginning is just the trailer of what's coming in the third trimester! It is because hormones slow down your gut to absorb more nutrients for the baby. Just wear loose clothes and accept the puffiness, trust me!
I've read that bloating can be one of the very first signs of pregnancy even before you miss your period. It happens because of hormonal changes that make your stomach feel heavy. I hope to experience this sweet sign of good news very soon!
I am currently 10 weeks pregnant and the bloating is so real! It feels like my stomach is stretched to its limit already. Do you girls also feel it more in the evenings, or is it just me throughout the day?
Bloating basically means your tummy feels super full and tight, mostly due to hormones slowing down digestion. My saas told me it is very common and made me drink warm ajwain water, which really helped soothe the tightness!
