I see everyone writing 10 dpo, 12 dpo in TTC groups and I dont understand it. I am trying to track my cycle properly this month. Can someone explain in simple words?
DPO means days past ovulation. So 10 DPO means 10 days after you ovulated. People use it when tracking to figure out when they can test, since hcg rises a bit each day after implantation.
DPO is days past ovulation, basically counting from the day you ovulated. Useful for timing your test. Just remember everyone implants on different days, so a negative at 9 or 10 DPO doesnt always mean no.
I learnt this recently too, it stands for days post ovulation. We use it while trying because testing too early before like 10-12 DPO often shows negative even if pregnant. The apps count it for u.
It just means days past ovulation yaar. Honestly dont obsess over symptom spotting at every DPO, I drove myself mad doing that. Test once your period is actually late, much less stress.
