It's basically the first three months (week 1 to 12) of your pregnancy [1.1.2]. I recently delivered and honestly, that first trimester was the hardest with all the morning sickness and sleeping all day!
It just means the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. It's a crucial time of development, but once you cross it, the second trimester feels much easier and more energetic, so stay positive!
For IVF moms, the first trimester (weeks 1 to 12) is often filled with anxiety and constant scans. It is the most critical period of development, so please take your prescribed progesterone and rest as much as possible.
It is the first phase of your beautiful journey, dear, up to week 12. Your body is doing so much work setting up the home for your baby, so you might feel very exhausted. Eat small meals and rest as much as you can.
My doctor explained that the first trimester spans from week 1 to the end of week 12. This is when all major organs of the fetus develop, which is why taking folic acid and avoiding self-medication is so important.
I totally understand how overwhelming this new phase can feel! The first trimester is the first 12 weeks where your tiny miracle's heart and organs start forming. It’s such a precious, emotional time even if you feel sick.
Personally, for me, the first trimester was just weeks 1 to 12 of absolute fatigue and craving sour things. I didn't read too much medical stuff, just focused on sleeping whenever I could.
This is the starting phase of your soul's journey into the world, lasting till 12 weeks. Keep your mind calm, listen to good music, and take care of your health during these initial months.
