Oh I was confused by all these letters too. Someone told me HC is head circumference. Did anyone elses report have so many short forms? I had to google each one, then just asked my doctor to explain everything.
HC = head circumference. My tracker app actually had a glossary for all these, HC, AC, FL, EFW etc. Helpful but at the end the doctor's reading is what matters, the numbers alone can scare u for nothing.
HC is head circumference. The scan report has a bunch of these short forms, HC, AC for abdomen, FL for femur length. They just measure baby and compare to the weeks. Dont decode the report urself, let ur gynac read it.
HC means head circumference, its one of the measurements they take to estimate baby's size and age. My doc said they use it along with BPD, FL and AC to calculate the weight and check growth. Totally routine, nothing to worry.
